This report captures key insights and lessons from the Toilet Board Coalition Accelerator’s three-year journey supporting sanitation entrepreneurs across Latin America. Between 2023 and 2025, the Accelerator, in collaboration with Water For People and co-financed by the Inter-American Development Bank and IDB Lab through the Source of Innovation alliance, supported 13 sanitation enterprises, strengthening their business growth, investment readiness, and connections across the ecosystem.

Drawing on programme data and engagement with SMEs and ecosystem stakeholders, the report explores what worked, the challenges that constrained growth, and practical pathways for strengthening the Sanitation Economy across the region.
